Located only 200m from Estepona Port and within walking distance to Estepona Town, there is little need to use the public transport in Estepona, however if you wish to use the bus service (operated 7 days a week by Autocares Ricardo) there are bus stops spread along the beachfront and the cost will be less than €1.50 per person for a single ticket.
The local busses within Estepona lead to Estepona Bus Station, and from here it is possible to take further busses along the coastline to destinations such as Marbella, Fuengirola, Torremolinos, Malaga (including the airport) and La Linea (walking distance to Gibraltar Airport). Bus trips to both airports take around 1 hour and costs around €10 per person.
It is possible to walk to the bus station by following the paseo along the beachfront for around 3.5km.
In Estepona you can also easily find taxi ranks throughout the town, making travel back to the property extremely simple. The most common taxi ranks are: Avenida de Espana (near to the underground parking entrance), Avenida Juan Carlos I (outside Banco Sabadell), at the roundabout beside Estepona Port and also behind Estepona Bus Station. The trip will cost around €15-€20 depending on the time of day and your start point.
For travel into Estepona town, it is possible to call a local taxi to come and collect you, and Uber also operate in the area meaning you can use the app to book transport.
